I agree with you somewhat, but I watched some of the other vids and they were driving back up the left lane while 2 other cars raced, pretty sketchy....

I like that they actually have a set ending point instead of the well I'm ahead, they are catching me, so I'll just hit the brakes and declare myself the winner.

Yeah, we put together a sort-of "finish line marker" this time... because during the last video shoot, people were shutting down hundreds of feet before the finish...which made for a lame finish line video.

The marker was composed of an empty case of Bud Light, a 10 pack of cat5e patch cables to weigh it down and was covered with a bright yellow auto-x/rally vest.

Suppose that makes us high tech rednecks? lol

lol it took me 30 minutes of fighting on my back with it to half ass get it back together...I know from experience that it would have just blown off again until I get home and have time to do it right. I drove home making a point to stay out of boost. Believe me I'd like to get in more than one run.

to the moderator that jacked up my first post...the other forum has information about the cars, other videos that aren't posted here etc... the videos are supposed to be embedded so you don't have to go to another site to see the video, but the new version of that software isn't compatible with the version of vbulletin.

How many more times will that Mustang driver have to get stomped by GM before he realizes the error of his ways?

Going to the track tonight to see what the EVO will run with drag radials. We'll have 3 cameras on it. 2 interior and 1 outside cam. The EVO has run 11.2 @ 130 at the track. (true street tires and 93 pump gas.)

Chris started no lift shifting the EVO and picked up 8mph on the gtech. Gonna try to make it official. Gtech said 10.5 @ 138. It's usually within a tenth at the track. We'll see. Vid coming soon.
