Interesting to say the least. They are supposed to be one of the "best" LSX builders too. I have always thought their prices were fucking ridiculous anyway. I wonder what Cartek has to say about it?

wow i can't believe this. Maybe "thechef" should let cartek answer to this instead of closing the thread and not only hearing one side of a story.

All I have to say is this is why I hate to pay anyone else to do any work. In the end you only have yourself to blame or accept the credit.

the guy had a $25k race motor built. The motor blew. Cartek is CRAZY to even offer a warranty on a motor that someone plans to race with. That being said, they gave him a new motor. That being said, Cartek should have been up front about the differences between his first motor and his second motor.

I think they should have been up front if they wanted to change parts on the motor HE PAID FOR, really considering what they were doing for the guy they didnt have to tell him shit. It would be different if they put some crap lifters in when they knew the car was going to be raced, but they used quality parts, parts that were very capable of the cars intended use. They didnt HAVE TO do anything.
