agreed. i removed absolutely everything from my civic and i barely hit 1800lbs with me out of the car. just from looking at the car in the vid i would say he's still above 2000lbs easy

Which would meen you'de have to pull about 350-450lbs just to get to 2000lbs. Thats some extensive weight reduction right there.

I've been lookin into hondas cause one of the faster cars in the area is a b16 old school crx completly stripped (which can get to about 1800-1850lbs not including driver) running a sleeved block and big turbo. Gonna be damn near impossible to beat on high boost unless he spins the whole race.

just an example of what 1895lbs w/o driver looks like. i found some pictures of my old civic. and what you cant see is all the unnecessary garbage under the hood was ditched along with the steel bumpers under the covers.

also had the sweet battery placement

agreed i would take the CTS-V any day over the honda. but unfortunately the day will never come to where i can afford a CTS-V, especially like the one in the video. so i will always be stuck building junkyard turbo cars with the little money i do have.

reading this makes me laugh. does it anger you that an LS motor lost to a honda and do you think that if it were in a Camaro it would have not lost.

the biggest reason i never liked mustangs is that almost every mustang person that i met thought that mustangs were the fastest cars made. just reading comments on here makes me embarrassed to drive a camaro. camaros are the new mustangs cause everyone thinks that they are better than most cars (imports) because why, "they sound better"...........?

What? I think that Caddy prolly isnt that fast, if that setup were in a 3rd or 4th gen it would be substantially faster. Plus he was on motor. A simple heads/cam 150 shot LS1 car would hand that civic its ass and the caddy. And yeah be embarrassed to drive a Camaro

I know anything can be made fast and ive been beat by civics before but that car is a deathtrap and a timebomb. Why would you want something like that? Might as well be driving a fucking mo-ped with a busa motor, its just stupid and doesnt impress anyone except maybe his fellow ricers. Im not mad and i dont even drive an LS car so i could care less who wins or loses, hell i like seeing any RKC member lose.

its not the fact that the car lost to a civic that makes me laugh its just how mad alot of people on here get when a camaro or corvette or whatever gm loses. just how you said "Fuck Hondas, tell him to go run a real car" made me laugh is all.

and like i said in an earlier post, why i would want something like that. simply because thats all i can afford.

also referring to a honda as a ricer is getting old. theres a clear difference between the stock looking turbo hondas making decent power versus your teenager kids who shop at autozone for performance mods and neon kits. if you can't see a difference between the two then i'm sorry for you.

I wouldnt usually say something like that but you dont know the story behind RKC and why EVERYBODY hates them. Did you notice how much of a toolbag the camera guy was in that vid?
