Haha...that was a good video. The guy with the pink hair...is that the guy that makes the "for fun" videos of him talking crap on other cars?
Man...that civic makes me almost want to slap a little turbo car together. haha. Leave it all beat up, couple diff color fenders and hood. No hub caps. hahaha...

That honda race didnt seem quite right. I know hondas to push rea power need to sleeve the block. On a stock block they can still be fast because their so light but nothing a 414 Ls3 shouldnt be able to handle.
Only thing I can think of is where ever they are racing is at altitude. At altitude turbo cars do a shit load better.

Heh... thats me. I have not made those videos in many years. The CTS is a better car... but got beat this time. There was another run off camera and they got a clean start and locked...
I wanna see that thing on the bottle. Saw a video of it on the dyno at dallas performance and it dyno'ed over 800 on a 300 shot. Guess that guy stepped the shot down a bit?
if that caddy is really 500+hp then its gotta be making something around 450+ at the wheels. plus this was a roll race, weight had a little less to do with the race

People are forgetting that that honda probably weighs 1,000 pounds or more less thn the Caddy....
Also hate it when people say its in Mexico when its clearly in the US....
That Viper looked like 9 Ball's haha.

450 to the wheels? I think thats a stretch. The weight is what really helped run the race and weight is a huge factor in any race, dig or roll.

Looks like a B18C1 (GS-R motor) to me... definitely a potent setup, and some SICK cars.
There used to be a gutted and I mean GUTTED hatch around here that had a GSR motor, no turbo and I think stock head and bottom end and on street tires it was a 12 sec car or very very close..
If I was an import guy and did not like Supras I would take a hatch and put a K20, build it, turbo it and go.
I have a 95 Civic coupe with a freakin ebay turbo on it. D15 (1.5L) with a t3/t4 hybrid turbo that ran a 14.2 at 100mph on autox/road racing slicks, a full interior, and a street tune. Spent a total of $1700 including car, with better axles and real drag slicks car is easily into the mid 13s, low 13s with a "race" tune. Hondas are cheap, plentiful, and easy to work on........but there is still nothing better than the sound and torque of a V8...
Caddy = 4300lbs (W Driver) + Me (250) = 4550lbs. N/A 530 N20 800+. Tune is for N20 so obviously does not run as hard on N/A as a N/A tune would have it...
Honda = 1800lbs with driver. Claims 275hp but sources say he was sandbagging and made around 340 to the wheels. Since the video he has changed turbos (bigger).
The crazy part is these are the "little leagues" compared to most of the guys I hang out with.
That cts-v looks badass. That was a pretty cool vid.

The honda is GUTTED. 2 seats... no carpet... no nothing...
Just bare metal back there.
Whats nuts is the honda really is a $5500 venture total... If it did look so ghetto it would be badass... If I were him I would paint it, get some nice wheels, and some tint. Honda like that can make a name for itself beating $70,000 cars.
