Nice to see a drag strip step UP and let this kind of race happen where it should. At least there nobody had risk of damaging not only their cars, but public property as well. Hopefully other tracks can be convinced to let this sort of event take place. I know if I had a car to run this with I'd happily do it. The one thing I miss about street racing is the arm drop start. But I've gotten use to using a pro tree when I go to the track now.
iv seen that green hooded cobra b4. anyone know whos it is. i think it use to be a street car
As said before thats Boost12's cobra and it is most definetly STILL a street car....those guys are out every weeknd out here looking for action on the street or strip. That cobra is probably the most feared street car in the chicago land area, one hell of a car to see run on the street too.

These guys actually rented out the track privately for this event every year. Everyone there is with someone with a car, the event isnt open to spectators and each entry can only bring a crew of like 5 people i believe. Plus each car gets an alotted time to do their own prep but only a certain ways out off the line. This is probably one of the best and most looked forward to events each year cuz its truly some of the countrys fastest street cars(notice BoostedGt from texas as well as a few other cars from down south) all coming together going heads up no bullshit. Plus it always sets up for a night of good racing on the street after the event for bragging rights and more money races.
