I've been messing with the tune a lot. But the main thing is throttle control. I can get it to launch decent, but it still spins the tires very easy if I give it too much. It's hard to do, just takes practice.
Hopefully they'll add some drag slicks in DLC soon.
Is there some sort of trick to getting the ZR1? Says it's locked and I need to be a VIP member to get it. My xbox isnt connected to live right now, but what a bummer haha.

The ZR1 is the only reason I paid the extra $20 for the LCE. Hopefully if they do the drag slick DLC they will also let you make the wheels smaller too. Theres no point in a 19-20" drag slick

I too am not sure if i want to spend $139 for a new system and then $50 for the game. then again i spent $150 for an 8800GT video card for my PC last year

can you swap any motor into any car? (within reason i mean) Like can you put an LT4 from the 96 GS corvette into the LS1 T/A to make it feel like an LT1 even though it doesn't look like it?
also can you take a 1987 buick GNX motor and put it into the 1987 Trans am GTA to mimick a TTA?

It gives you certain motor upgrades for certain cars, you can't swap them like that.
For example you can take an SS and put the LS9 ZR1 motor into it. You can make the TTA with the GN motor tho, it's in the game.
