Im not sure I would spend $200 on an xbox if I didnt already have one. But if you have a good buddy with one, just buy the game and play it at your buddies place. Thats what Im doing.
I thought I was being original by doing the Blackbird stripes someone beat me to it. I also had the Pontiac emblem on the beak and the 455 emblem on the tail the same as my real car.
Now to try and figure out the wireless. To hardwire the router I would need to go through 3 rooms and about 75 feet. As I use in in my finished basement and can not cheat it.
are there any actual races in this game, or is it just a build your own and screw around thing?

Oh no the races are the main point. I've probably played for more than 15 hours and I'm only about 10 percent done. The career mode is HUGE. And that's not even talking aboutall the online play...

This game is the shit but I just tried the drag racing. By far the biggest let down of this game. But I did spin my way to 197 in the mile so Im happy with that.

GT5 has been in development for like 100 years LOL, there will be new systems by the time that game comes out, if it ever does.. I just picked up Forza 3 today finally.. I can say this series has surpassed the Grand Turismo series. Those looking for systems you can get used xbox's for like $139 box from game stop.

I just bought this game this afternoon. To be honest, I love racing games and have played alot of them. This is hands down the best one I have ever played. The graphics are awesome and the options to modify your car are about as realistic as it gets.
I don't have a picture but I have White 02' T/A with the VFN Hood, Iforged wheels, ZR1 engine swap, cage, suspension and exhaust. Was going to do a turbo swap on this car, but I like hearing the supercharger whine on this one. Can't wait to keep modding and buy some more cars!
