As said before, go to Quick Race and do it from there...do NOT do test drive under your career mode...doing it under career mode does not give you the 3,2,1,GO.....doing it under Quick Race gives you the countdown and the time starts when the tree hits green as it should.

Yeah, its not perfect and "rumor" has it that an update coming out for the game will fix the drag racing mode.
No, the time should start when I give it gas to cross the beam, NOT when the light turns green.... that's what reaction times are for. Also you'll notice that the "percent completed" on the track does not start when you start moving, you have to get out a little ways for it to start.

Not sure if its been mentioned before but if you wanna do some drag racing without that 3-2-1-countdown and the revving go to multiplayer and create a private match and you can drag race any car you want against each other and you'll have plenty of time to get your rpms where you want it.
Some cars power they got right some they didnt. The '05 Mustang GT and 350z are just as fast as the LS1 T/A and SS and the '04 GTO is faster than all of 'em. There are a few others I cant think of. Its not that big of a deal though because the rest of the game is awesome.

Yeah, I see what everyone is getting at now....hopefully its fixed when ever it gets patched. Saw a thread on the forza forums that they were reading all feedback and working on a patch but will be a while before its done...patching a game takes time.

I can't believe how awesome the images are that you guys have posted. I used to be huge into the Gran Turismo series up until about part 3 but then got out of it. This stuff looks too good to be true.
i can't help but notice everybody on here asking about traction, and NOBODY is helping....wtf? is it a secret? I can't get my shit to hook either. I've tweaked with ALL the tuning options and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

are the guys getting air under the tires doing it with the traction control and/or stability control on? I was tuning on my camaro the other night and turning traction on seemed to get me closer, although it bogged harder....i stopped playing shortly thereafter, so another gearing session might cure that...

i have a manual w/clutch in all my vehicles....can you actually put a TH350 in it? i thought i was just "automatic" or manual with or w/o clutch?
I'm too busy playing in my career mode right now, i haven't fooled around with drag setups too much...i haven't even played anything on Live yet, just my career mode.

u can edit the tranny specs and in turn put the specs in for any tranny setup u want. for my 850 hp ws6 it traps better with the th350 than the powerglide setup lol

best time is a 11,33@144. makes 830hp i want to max it out on power and see if i can get in the 10's. im still tuning on it so it should get faster at this power level. sorry for the cell pics i dont have live
