I do that in the quarter mile. But no danger of killing anyone else.......well not a lot of people anyway. Maybe another driver. Max 2 people. Do that shit in a controlled environment. In traffic is pretty stupid!

Who in the hell that has authority in his town is going to come on an ls1 forum, find the media section, and then find his thread. Then make the connection that its a street in their town, and try to do something about it?

didnt look like mexico to me! lol Pretty stupid actually. I've gone pretty fast on back roads before, but 1.) it was day time 2.) i was on only one on the road, and i could verify that because i could see over a mile.

I dont like to be the downer, but smashing a minivan filled with a family at 155 is a pretty good way to fuck your life up real quick. I doubt the judge is going to be lienient on vehiclular manslaughter when one is going 125mph over the posted speed limit

It was a joke. But yeah I don't do that kind of stuff anymore. I think it was really stupid of me. I'm a more serious driver now when it comes to that kind of stuff. That was reckless of me and it took me a while to figure that out. I made a decision to stop it.

good to hear that.

Your safety is more important, you have a family and if something happened , others have families too. No one wants to be in that place when he becomes the reason for the loss of someone else !!!

You beat me, i thought my 165 thru a construction zone speed limit of 45mph on a highway was for sure the most reckless and crazy done around the chicagoland are with an LSx car, mad props, on that kind of road i never even considered 155mph. And huge BONUS that you got it on video. My 165mph was a very spontaneous thing

Cool vid.

Not the smartest thing but as long as you learned your lesson and no one got hurt it's all good.

And to those who wished something happened to the driver like

you are a dumb ass. Did you go through the forum find media and hunt the media section? No, it was a "new post" thread. Even still the shits on you tube, do you have any idea how often police are on myspace, facebook, youtube, public forums, etc?

Dumbshit, next time think. Not trying to be like "ooo police are everywhere", but seriously.

sorry for the thread jack OP, dumb people make me angry. Hope you think twice next time something like this sounds like a good idea

stupid ass stunt, i wont even give props for doing 155 in a 30 zone with other people on the road - approaching an intersection no less! if you were the only jackass on that road, still not smart. lots of deadly objects around. mix in the close proximity to other innocent motorists, than an intersection, too many things could have occured. dip in the road, rock in the road, blow out from you or another vehicle, small/large animal in front of you or another motorist. mechanical failure of any kind - man just plain ass fuckin stupid. hopefully that obviously empty space between your ears begins to fill with something called a brain. way too many people are killed in this country from stupid shit like this.
food for thought - a recent story somewhere spoke of someone loosing their 2 young kids and husband from an asshole much like yourself going well over 100mph through an intersection also a 30 zone. to many variable that you (or anyone) will never see comming or ever be able to control at a speed like that. get a better job, build a power house car and do that speed on a track. i'm done
