The KB car was being datalogged at the time, and IT WAS NOT CLUTCH SLIP, as it would have shown up in RPM flare, which did not occur. The boost gauge doesn't lie, and boost dropped off 5-7psi when we heard the superhcharger note drop off. But hey, I don't own a Cobra. Therefore someone who lives over 1000 miles away can better account what happened while I was riding in the car Maybe I should be a moderator over on SVTP? Finally, just because I don't own a Ford doesn't mean I don't know anything about them (in fact, it might be the reason why I don't own one ). Judging by some of the Cobra owners' post count here, I'd venture to say I've got more seat time in that Cobra then they have in the their own car, as they can't seem to get away from the keyboard!

I personally will find myself laughing hysterically when I take a serious whippin. Not to mention I will pull up to whoever waxed me and smile, while shaking my head giving the thumbs up. I hardly ever see someone else do that when I put the wax on them. I have fun with my car.

Agreed 100%. There is ALWAYS a guy out faster than you, I just hope I dont run across him, but JUST in case I do, I respect every race as if this is that guy and have some fun! Now some times when I hang with friends, EVERYONE else makes my car out to be more than it is. Im like " its a fat pig with a little motor and a big super charger, that moves pretty good." Thats it.

I know they can slip, mine slips every time I hit it, but trying to convince some people that there is a logical reason a cobra didn't put up a better fight on this site is useless.

Its funny how the vettes power is laid out on the table in the vid, but no details on the stang. And then to top it all off an excuse at the end of it.
