id love to put my car up against any of these guys, i havent taken a good beating in a long time.

around these parts there is me and a mustang guy, ive run a 9.0 at 155 and hese run a 9.1 at 158 both in full street trim on 17" dr's

sure he is lighter and has 50ci on me but hey, i got an ls1

just dont put me next to the guy that spins out please.

hard to tell exactly how fast many of these cars are.. really need more video, like one on the street from a stop, one from a roll, and one 1/4 mile track pass to really judge how 'effective' the car is in a race and also find out exactly how 'street' it is.

Okay guys, I read/watched all 6 pages of this thread with absolute AMAZEMENT...SOOOO many UBER fast cars...and I appreciate every last one of 'em. My question though...refers to the F-Body's battle against the stock 10-bolt. These Supras, in particular, are running all these high HP outputs and sick QM times, but good GOD what kinda rear ends do they have??? It's just shocking to me that we all are crazy mad scared of the moment when our 10-bolts decide to finally go, yet these Jap cars are runnin' ridiculous HP on, perhaps not necessarily stock rear-ends, mainly cuz I don't know anything about Jap stock rear-ends, but some kinda rear-end that is obviously superior to our stock GM 10-bolt? Enlighten me fellaz...

Supras use the stock IRS with a TRD LSD installed.

Here's one. I don't know what the mustang ran but kevin in the camaro goes 7.6's at a sea level track. who knows what he did on this pass. this thread supposed to be cars on the street and all i see are track cars. the vid's a little long but worth it. It was in Compton on the STREET.

my stuff is pennies compared to most of what i see on here, pretty basic

pte-88 single turbo, good strong 6.0 ls2 stock crank, timing set, rockers, throttlebody, cooling system, stock ls6 intake; 4l80e trans moser 12 bolt

street car on a full slick? i dont think so

the car as raced is over full weight at 3870, i run all pro cathedral unported heads and on the 9.0 and 156 mph passes i was at 23# boost

I will go out on a limb and say that Darin's car will easily break into the 8.4 range if not quicker.
