i remember taking a pre engineering course in 1997 and reading a popular mechanics that belonged to our teacher that showcased a car that gm had built that was getting 100 mpg. Have not heard or seen anything about it since. I have also seen my share of 500-800 horsepower cars getting outrageous mpg. What i dont understand is why we (our automotive industry) still build 300 hp cars that struggle to get 20mpg.
i do, heard about that looooooooong time ago, and it makes since that the gov would pay off someone to keep shut about that so taht the oil comps make money,
Completly possible sure, but with E85 highly unlikely. Since E85 is about a .33 as efficent as traditional gas. E85 is a lost cause which doesn't make since to furture develop. Hydrogen power is in my opinion a better alternative. It is twice as efficent as gasoline, abundant, and its emissions consist of water.

That video just sounds like a bunch of bullshit.. do you people really believe that? The guy sounds like a friggen ricer 500lbs of torque?? the thing doesn't even sound loud wtf and the tires looks smaller then my 245s ffs..yea it does 0-60 in 3seconds my ass its a normal pos stang and someone wants to get on tv for acting like they did something

I want to believe but I feel the same way you do.

i believe that we can send man to space, have planes fly subersonic speeds, explore the depths of the ocean, clone animals, build gigantic structures....but cant make a fkking car do 100mpg?!
lol....yeah. Somehow, I doubt it. Seriously, if it were possible, even if they could do half that on an SUV, the SUV sales wouldn't be a problem again.
I call

Agreed but the GOV wants to dump our corn and more of it into the process. Makes not fuKINIG sense. The problem with HYDO is that it takes a lot of energy to make it.

I just read this guys Patents and he invented some F*ing brace that goes on the Short block thats supposed decrease parasitic loss that naturally comes from friction by the piston traveling along the cylinder walls. And by doing this the engine becomes more efficient and burns less gas for the same or more amount of power. I think he said somewhere his engine operates at 38% capacity and normal engines operate at 8-10% capacity. (im not sure how accurate that statement is btw)
I just googled his name and started reading. Theres alot of controversy about this guy. I mean if I think about it, it makes sense to an extent, but for the power gains and MPG hes talking about, I would definatly have to see it to believe it.
Here the link to his patent with pics. Click on full text to see the novel of text on this thing. Oh yeah grab a snack while your at it, I had some sour skittles........
