what turbo are you running? what would enable you to hit 700??? gt40r?
sorry for all the questions, i just think the whole awd turbo thing is cool as hell.
A GT35R would be more than sufficient to put him into the 9's. The only thing that would hold him back would be weight. One of the guys who worked on my talon went 9.0@160 with a 35R and a 120 hit in his dsm.
(red talon)

So yea with mellons new setup it should be a serious street contender!! And yea im hooked on the awd turbo setup as well. when you show up to street races in philly with an awd car your quick to make enemies!! haha

Nice vid!

The hta 35R is no joke. My brother has that same turbo on his evo, stock motor, stock ecu (ecu flash), comp 280 cams, exeddy twin disk clutch, etc... At 30psi on 116 he ran a10.98 @ 128mph.

Mellon, are you on meth/alky injection? you said you are on 30psi on pump gas?

Matt

yep axles go first typically but even so you rarely hear about anyone breaking one.

no, straight 93 octane pump gas, nothing else. I went 7.32 @ 100mph in the 1/8th one time but I couldn't get it into 4th thanks to the worn out exedy twin disc dragging and locking me out. I finally managed to get it in and it still went 11.4 @ 125 I think it'll do 130mph like it sits but my new short block, head and cams have arrived...planning on taking the evo to the next level very soon and I have my eye on a bigger turbo too

update, built shorty/head/cams 32psi = 10.41 @ 135 on 93 octane and 600awhp. Minor turbo upgrade and now 633awhp on 93 octane and 701awhp on c16 (so far)
