Nice run...Your Evo is definitely no joke.

I wish I lived closer to TN. I'd love to line up next to you and have some footage taken.

Good run but that Malibu looked like a mid 11sec ride at best (on motor)

the end of the 1/4 is just before the hill so the shutdown area is nice for slowing down.

Yes, it's ready to handle up to a 500shot but it's a new engine and they just wanted a little help breaking it in.

probably low 12's at 115ish I'd guess on that pass. I trap 125-130 at the moment and had no problem reeling him in even after my pathetic launch where I almost bogged it. The grip on that bridge is way better than I thought it would be so I didn't use the 2-step and came off the line at 0 psi instead of 15.

I'm still waiting on my built 2.0 shorty, heads/cams/coil on plug setup to arrive. It's been 2 months

sweet sweet. im glad to see your sticking with the 2.0. Not a big fan of the strokers.

yeah I'm more into drag racing so the stroker isn't very appealing since it typically limits the rpms and requires a shift to 5th gear... f that!

I don't like to bench race about what it could make....but here goes.

currently it's ~ 500awhp and I'm hoping for 550awhp on pump gas, the gains will come from the head and cams, not the short block since the compression is the same. The stock ecu is likely going to hold me back but I do have an AEM EMS ready to go in at that point. I'd like to see 600+awhp on race gas with more boost. This is the same engine that's being used in 1000+awhp cars so I have much more potential so I'm sure I'll be looking at bigger turbos but my goal is 700+ eventually. I'm not going to touch the drivetrain until it breaks, quite a few guys in the 9's on the stock tranny etc...

damn thats impressive as hell! when stuff starts to break, what goes first?? halfshafts?
what turbo are you running? what would enable you to hit 700??? gt40r?
sorry for all the questions, i just think the whole awd turbo thing is cool as hell.
