There is no such thing as high mileage the motor will go forever. GOD create the LS1 and He will say when it's done.

GFs car has just under 160k miles.. Passenger seat and rear seats look brand new, the interior is near mint.. Driver seat looks better than mine (i have 80k miles on mine)
Has ls6 intake ls6 cam full exhaust 373s and about to install a 3200 converter, runs strong as hell and never has a problem.
The body is in very good shape.. the front clip is kind of rough (black) from bug splatters and rock chips.. 500$ should take care of that though..

Looking/driving it you wouldn't think it even had 100k on it..

Although this was a 1 owner (ex mod from this site) that saw almost all highway..

Depends on the individual car IMO.. I have seen 35k miles car in worse shape than 100k mile cars..

I'd say once you get to 125-130k is high mileage. Most dealerships consider anything over 75k high mileage.

i have a friend who had an 00 z28 bone stock with 200k plus miles and it ran like it was brand new it even ran in the 13's

mine is at 92k miles and im in the process of cam swap, but i did have a problem on my oil pump releif valve, it got stuck 1 morning and left me at zero oil psi good thing i saw it quick. the 97-2000 LS1 oil pumps can have a releif valve problem
