Default Header Studs

do the header studs need to be changed (buy new ones) when you switch headers (making the change to LTs) or are the original ones ok to reuse?

EDIT: whats the difference, between studs and bolts? why use one over the other?

The GM bolts used for the manifolds can be reused with headers if you want. Most change them to get rid of the rusty bolts on new headers. Studs will be installed before the header and use a nut to clamp the headers. I like my ARP header studs they are stainless and I like look of the stud with the 12 point nuts. They also made hanging the header by my self easier. They are pricy and not a must, but they were worth the extra $$$ to me.

The studs will make it a lot easier to do the headers by yourself ( as previously stated )
