cut air box, slp lid, ported ls6 mass air and throttle body, ls6 intake, ported 853 heads, mti r1 cam and tune, edelbrock long tubes , tsp duals, B&M short throw, zo6 clutch, aluminum drive shaft every bmr/umi suspension product you can think of along with eibach springs and bilstein shocks, stock 10 bolt with 3.73s(i know workin on a 9")
And another! I sold the idea of getting my SS to my wife by saying how it already has good power and handling stock so there is no reason to jump into mods, HA! I knew better and so did she!
Not too many real mistakes thanks to researching this site first but I ported my stock MAF then had to get another one when I got a tune since it doesnt keep a constant A/F ratio with a ported MAF. And trying to knife edge the throttle body and causing a high idle but I just put a piece of tape over the hole and it is back to normal.

my biggest mistake was buying the slp package with my car!! it came with the car when I bought it, I was so excited about getting my car I didnt care...now that I see how much I would of saved. pisses me off! I paid 37 grand for mine brand new with that stupid package
trying to fix up my v6 instead of swapping in my ls/lq
Ha I almost did that when my dad was going to give me his old 95 V6. Good thing I waited and just bought a V8, still cost less and nets more in the long run.

Im a fairly new to having my 02' Camaro z28, about to start bolting up a few things, and after reading up i have to ask, is there anything comparable to GMMG, as in more cost efficient?

buy a used catback system; check the classfieds on the board. GMMG and Corsa are the best systems you can get, but it will cost you $1000+ new or $350+ used. other popular systems are borla, hooker, and tsp true duals. check out http://ls1sounds.com/
