I was there too. That hood went at least 100ft in the air. Can't believe nobody was hurt, cuz that was a LOUD explosion.

That sucks. Makes me want to put fire suppresion on the car just in case. I forgot about a fire extinguisher last year but this year it will be a must whenever the bottle is on. I also keep the bottle off any time the kit is not used. I keep mine behind the passenger seat where the foam seat was.

Looks exactly like my GTO looked like 2 years ago

If anyone knows that guy, please have him contact me, I can give him some good advise when dealing with his insurance company.

Holy smokes! In the packed staging lanes and nobody was hurt?

Tech tip! This is why the big dogs use an open bottle at all times but with a ball valve/guage in the cockpit. You can watch pressure but then open the line to arm the system right before the run. 1 bad noid is all it takes, some kits have 10 noids...

this is why you CLOSE the bottle untill your ready to make a pass. I don't think it matters if it was a wet kit, or a dry kit, the n20 noid was more then likely the culprit.

That had to hurt! My bottles are still in my car from Nov. I always test both of my kits before getting into staging lanes.
