Thats probably not a bad idea. Right now with the temps is become more of a driver right now. We tried taking 2 mph out of the shift points and it didn't do anything to help it shift.

Like you I need to lean out my 200 shot since its down around 10.8-11.2 range.

Z rated- What nitrous kit do you have on your car??

I had a nitro daves plate and a 62 jet was 150 shot
My nx nozzel also rates a 62 jet at 150 shot
I would think a 67 jet would be around 155-160 shot
I believe a 78 jet would be 200 shot

Unless you are rating it at rwhp?

Thanks Chris, maybe you missed it because it's just a lowly LT1, I don't know. Tell Ray who helped pick out all the parts for me will ya?
I think I'll give you a call next week, as I need a few more things to make the other kit I have (Brand X) complete.

I'm using the same kit as you and Larry. Back on the first couple of pulls, with the 62N 41F it was 115 extra rwhp. I figure with the 38F it was about 130 rwhp looking at the time slips, DA, etc. I'm just guessing, but I'd put it at around 140 rwhp right now. If so, it's right around 500 rwhp total.

Cool, That's what I figured.

I don't have nitrous plate. ( on my dad's car now).

When I had it on my car the standard jetting was way to fat. Low 10's A/F on wideband.

I did like the kit. With stock shortblock car picked up from 445 rwhp to 620 rwhp on 150 shot 62 jet.

I'll see you at the track. Get ready for some testing on the new kit.

Good luck with the car.
