Default Dual Stage n2o question's! Help please

I've been thinking about doing a dual stage setup for a long time now. I've been thinking about a 125 shot wet for the first and a 75 shot dry for the second stage. I've been running a 150 shot for a while now and i've had no issuse at all. I'm looking for some other thoughts and opinions from you guys so tell me what you think!

the car has 80k but still holding strong.
how much timing would i have to pull?
what about fuel pump and injectors?

unless you are having traction issues, why go with a second stage? Why not just bump the first stage up to a 175 shot?

i was thinking about just doing a 175 shot but i'd like to run a little more like a 200 shot. From the reaserch i've done and from what i've been told, you're able run more nitrous in stages rather than one big hit. Correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not a big nitrous guru, thats why i'm asking for suggestions and help.

harris speed works microedge + might be an option with its progressive control function u can run a 200 shot and not have to worry about adding the second stage

Every car and every build is different. I have a 2 stage wet on my car and instead of running a stacked shot which would mess with bottle pressure, I chose to switch from one kit to the other. I run 100 on the first to get out of the hole and once its hooked and out I am switched over to the 200 shot. I didn't want to run a dry shot because then I would need a retune and bigger injectors.

Curious as to how a stacked shot messes with bottle pressure.

When using one bottle and spraying the first shot the bottle pressure drops and when you stack the second shot on top the second shot will be a lil richer due to the bottle pressure being already dropped by the first shot.

I think it was you and a few others who advised me with this on here awhile back and that is the reason I did it the way I did.

There is nothing wrong with the pressure dropping a little. You know thats the case when you turn the 2nd kit on so you set it up to run a little leaner to make up for that.

Its not a issue, everyone does it without issue.

My thoughts are if you have a stage on never turn it off just keep putting more on top of it !

Yeah that was the same advice you gave me but I needed to run my shots individually and thats when everyone agreed to just separate the shots and just switch from one to the other.

As far as never turning off a shot, just keep stacking on top of it I can tell by you wheelstand in the pic

would progressing a 200 shot by setting the progressive unit to shoot the 200 at 50% (100hp) then in second gear set the unit to shoot 100% (all 200hp) be the same as running two stages or is there a downside to this.

The only downside is you cant streetrace with that setup. Theres no ability to sandbag with that. This is IMO. If you don't streetrace it will be a pretty good setup

I just heard that some people dont like progressing because it works the noids harder, but I wanted a two stage and also wanted to save the extra cost of buying extra lines noids and nozzles.

If you have a NANO set up would stacking even be an issue due to the constant bottle pressure the system supplies?

I think he was saying its not good for street racing because the progressive controller is automatic and in a street race you may not need or want your second system to hit .

If your beating that cobra already on the 1st 100 shot you may not want to kill him with the second stage because then you'll scare everybody else off and you won't get many races if you go around beating people be 2 bus lengths.

2 stages AND a progressive here.....

Works great, especially if you want to hit it HARD out of the hole and don't have all the fancy suspension stuff like me.
