Default Forged 347 nitrous block limit?

Ok guy let's here some numbers or thoughts.. I see guys getting ballsy spraying 250 on stock shortbkock.. So what's the limit of forged? Or what u guys think my setup limit is... All numbers assuming goog fuel and system and good tune... My setup is what's in sig.. Plus short block is stock crank, h beam eagle rods, forged je pistons( nitrous gap rings and clearence not fir sure if they all out nitrous pistons) new gm mls gaskets head studs.. And Orc heads roughly 11.1.... I'll be using dp/ with stand Aline and single nozzle up front for another stage.... what's actuall stock block and crank breaking point?

If you know what you're doing, and the heads are tied down with the good L19 studs and the deck is thick enough to hold everything (stock castings won't be) you probably can put 350 to 400 to a properly built 347 as long as you break it up into 2 stages, and again, know what you're doing with the tuneup (right plugs, fuel, timing, fueling, etc)

Hopefully.... the rest of the car is ready for that too and all your safety stuff is done.

The prc heads are what bother me, that's a stock casting, and it may not have the deck thickness to hold the pressure.

I didn't feel starting any drama in his thread. I'm in a good mood today.

I'm thinking the limit on my setup is around 400. My tune up right now is extremely safe on for a 300 shot. Haven't gotten to lean on it yet. I have a fairly similar setup as the OP.

I was told by LME mine could hold a 300 shot no problem assuming all supporting mods are there. I'v done a 150 & 200 shot so far.

I agree I've seen safe 400 shots on built cars but these are definitely not street cars!!!

It's running. Working on getting the suspension lined out. It doesn't like launching now.

I think I know that guy....

I don't dyno it anymore so not sure what it's making at this point but it has made a little over 700 on one big kit.

Sunday I hit it with about a 400 shot and it held it like a champ. The car didn't 60' like it usually does or we would have had a new stock cube record.

I did trap 118.69 in the 1/8th though. That's a new PB for me.
