Default Which is better wet kit or dry for LT1 up to 200 shot?

Hey folks I have an all 4340 forged LT1 with LE heads & intake, cam LTs & TDs thru an M6 and S60 rear. I am new to spray and I want to know which is better on an LT1 "wet" or "dry" nitrous up to say a 200 shot?

Wet from what I've heard. Check out Harris Speed Work's and Nitrous Outlet's wet kits for LT1's.

Well at the 200 hp shot level, you should be looking beyond plates or nozzels in terms of even distribution. #1 cyl in LT1's tend to get starved to begin with. Personally I would not run a dry shot past 100 hp as the requirement to supply the added fuel makes the A/F too rich for my blood and I am not a fan of fuel swaps at the track.

I would personally run a direct port wet shot running off a stand alone filled w/ C16 so the safety margin is there and your "street" tune does not have to be toned down as much. It would give you a good balance IMO.

I would say wet is your best bet. Plenty of guys like dry but wet systems are easier in my opinion especialy when you get higher in the HP.

For the LTx application I would suggest a wet also.
