Default Pulling Timing For A 100 Shot?

I am going to fire up the new Harris Wet Kit on Sunday.

I have been getting mixed signals about timing. Should I have to pull timing for a 100 shot?

Not sure how much it matters but the shortblock is a Lingenfelter with forged pistons (rest of the shortblock is stock). Rest of the parts are in my signature.

Can someone help me out. I would hate to screw something up.

Thanks,

Bill

You should pull 4 degrees, but good parts and gas pull 2.

We need to know first your baseline timing. Pulling 2 degrees if your timing is maxed out won't do much good.

Hope this might help....

-- General Rule for Pulling timming --
2* Retard per every 50hp

If your timing is advanced to an extreme degree ( Ex 30-32* ) you might have to pull more than 2* per 50hp
