Default 1999 Chevrolet Metro LSI

$3,600

Clean title, title in hand.

Mileage: 137,XXX
Transmission: Automatic
  • New brake pads and rotors, serviced at Les Schwab less then 500 miles.
  • New Toyo tires, only a couple thousand miles old with fresh Les Schwab warranty.
  • AC has been recently serviced and blows cold on demand.
  • Exceptional fuel economy

I purchased this car two years ago for the explicit purpose of commuting to and from work in Redmond and it has performed flawlessly. Over time the car grew from it's strict responsibility as the commuter to my primary source of transportation in all scenarios. Beyond the great gas mileage, the automatic transmission was the biggest selling point for me to maintain sanity in stop and go traffic.

Long road trips, short hops across town no matter the situation this car has been excellent throughout while maintaining exceptional fuel economy. We recently took a trip over the mountains to eastern Washington and averaged roughly 45MPG even with the task of climbing through the hills loaded with camping gear. Performance wise it does very well as it has the four cylinder and is able to maintain highway speeds on inclines under load.

Maintenance has been on the dot hitting all milestones since I've owned it and changing the oil every 3,000. It has been serviced at the local Oil Can Henry's the last several oil changes and previously Mobil 1 before they switched to "Gotta Lube!".

No damage to the car other then a few issues with the hood, windshield and the paint on the roof. My best guess is that the previous owner at one time did not latch the hood and it came up to smack the windshield and the roof was scratched as the event unfolded. Given the purpose of the car, it's been an omission of visual quality that I have been fine with and from 5-10' away it's not nearly noticeable. The attached photo is the day I brought it home from a local dealership and the damage is present but hardly noticable from a reasonable distance but resembles something wavy like someone sat on the hood.

The remaining elements of the car are in great shape and would just need an annual buff and wax to get a nice solid shine for the year.

I would prefer not to sell the car as it has been a great asset, but now that I no longer commute long distances it is not needed.

I'm located in Arlington, and want to make it clear I am not interested in ANY trades. I'll be able to provide more photos in higher resolution for interested parties.

Thanks!
