That was actually at Clark college in the parking lot, looks like it'll come out though. Good thing is that it goes away for the winter tomorrow.

Thanks man, but it's all part of the game. Shit happens and the only I can do is just move forward. The most ironic part of all this is that I was just talking to Brenda a couple weeks previous about replacing those rods with some H-beams this winter.

Phill, as for the plans of a new engine, I'm not real sure for the time being. Part of me wants to fix this block and build a 427, but then I'd always be thinking something else would happen to the block again. I've considered an iron block forged 408, but I've also thought about going super budget and doing a forged 370 built for nitrous or turbo. I have all winter to think about the possibilities so for the time being, I'm going to concentrate on taking weight out of the car, and proabably do some mini-tubs this winter. I'd like to run a much larger rear wheel/tire for the next track outing.

Mike

Yep, no luck for me either, nice that it is back up today.

Got my Pro 5.0 installed with a short stick, changed the oil and trans oil; at work all day now hoping for some more nice weather.
