its nice to see some people close by! but yeah i have a 2000 silver SLP ss 6sp this is my first NEW car so to speak..lol i have always been into the old chevy stuff but i was tired of rust and leaks kinda sucked as far as a everyday drivers.. but now i can have the old stuff on the side and have somthing nice to drive around! anyways its got 84,000 miles black leather interior etc etc.. i lowerd it 2 in and put bilstiens on it for now im gonna go konis later or a coil over set up. i put the SLP loudmouth catback exhaust on it i bought a set of pacesetter full length headers and Y pipe and havnt put thoose in yet. i also went with the sticky bfgoodrich g-force KD for tires but yeah other than that its just my every day driver. for the fall/winter im gonna tackle suspesion.. tubular arms up fornt and control arms out back, double adjustible panhard.swaybars and strut tower brace..wheels drilled and slotted rotors and hawk HPS pads will top it off. hey ssteven that be sweet but im off work at 5-530 and its dark i dunno if you still wanna cruise but id be down saturday or somthin i think its suposed to rain tho.. is there any camaro/vette/gto clubs around? local

I'ma be out cruising today, tonight, and tomorrow, looks like it is going to be nice this weekend

Its probably gonna be one of the last times I drive her until the rainy season is over...My SS only has about 20k miles on her, lowered with OEM c6's, SLP LME, and lid. My plans are to slap a ms3 in her, and maybe some heads, that's if no one buys her from me for the price i'm asking. If she does sell, i'd buy a cheap f bod and build a 427 lsx for the streets.

Maybe when this state dries out next year, a cruise might be appropriate.
Any car events in the Portland/ Salem area or maybe even Medford?

I am in Eugene. Home of the Toyota Prius. Ever get behind a driver in a Prius?
They usually drive 5 to 10 mph below the speed limit. A friend and I think most of the owners once had VW vans.

Got a quick question for your central valley guys. Can anyone recommend someone to do a head swap on a LS1 F-Body? I am to damned old to crawl back and get those ground straps off the back of the heads.

Do you have everything you need to do this swap (ex heads, gaskets, bolts etc.) If so i might be interested in helping you out this weekend, pm me what you think of it. I am in newberg not sure where you are at.
