10.733@138.37, 1.759 60', spun 1st & 2nd and lifted a bit. Still not a bad start for 2008!
Pacific Raceways was crazy packed today. I did learn something useful. I'm just getting used to these ET streets. I went in the street class with like 200 cars. Launched at 5K and spun badly off the line. After talking to the tech officials, the next run I went in slick class with like 20 cars. Same launch and that time dead hooked. It bogged badly because I wasn't feeding enough throttle (10.9@137, 1.85 60). The lesson was that the track was in WAY better shape while running with the slick cars. Much less of a waiting line. That is certainly the way to go at Pacific...
I was 1 pair behind Aaron's Camaro, I noticed the "Legends Racing" on his scoop. Nice launch! I dunno if he got by the rail car they paired him against.
DA ranged from -400 to +90 feet when I left at 4pm. I was having fuel system issues so I packed it in early before I jurt anything. But yes I beat the rail

13.99@100.73, 2.215 60'. This is my first run ever. All my other runs I either started late, or I forgot to turn the traction control off. As if it couldn't be more obvious that I'm a newb. At any rate I'm hooked, so i'll be back to race again for sure.
I made it out, and boy was it packed with rice cars.. Fortunately they lined me up with A different Mustang each run.. 06 GT bule with white stripes.. Pewter 03/04 Cobra and a new GT 500 Blue with white stripes.. No traction on street tires or drag radials..

Great going Chris, very good indeed for 1st time out this year. Once you get those ET Streets worked out low 10's for sure. I allways launch with plenty of rpms, no bogging, and when the good hook comes youe ready. You'll be all over the board with 60's till ya get it figured what works best for your combo, even then, getting back to back 60's is very difficult when at our power levels, is for mw anyway. N/a is much easier for me to get consistant 60s and ETs, but also to slow, lol.

Saw a couple of you guys out there but was too shy to say hello. My first run (on the cold and slippery track) was actually my best run of the day. 12.896@114.51 w/ a 2.243 60'. I think the Maggie was heatsoaked just sitting around. It might finally be time to get a couple #'s more boost and a little Meth injection.
I actually went up against a red Corvette w/ Turbo on the side. I passed the line when staging up and put the car into reverse to get back a little. While doing this, they started the tree! I ended up with a 1.9s reaction time. I felt silly. I would have gotten my ass handed to me anyway but it still would have been fun!
BTW, what did that blue w/ white striped GT500 run?
Sounds like a good day. I was planning on heading down but still need to put a few more miles on my new diff and clutch before beating on it. Hopefully the weather will be nice on the 1st.
^^ yeah that? I thought they trapped about 113-115 stock. They weigh the same as I do and I (should) be putting down more to the rear wheels than a stock GT500. I could be wrong though. Like I said, I need a smaller pulley and some meth to keep things cool.
