| Interior Panels Dye'd Well i found a parts car locally so i decided to go take a peak and see what was left and maybe i might be able to salvage a couple parts that i may need or upgrade. Long story short my interior in Neutral (Light Grey) and the interior from this is one was tan so i was a bit skeptical at first cuz i was really looking for a Graphite interior to swap over. Either way i noticed it had the 10 speaker setup with rear trunk panels with the speakers in them so i grabbed for dirt cheap and went to my local carquest which was a paint and parts store in one. They had charts and what not to match up to my stock panels color to the new panels which were tan.
This is what i ended up with when finished and an almost perfect match. A little bit off what car that ages doesnt fade right... so in all honesty im very happy with how it turned out so i also did my dash trim to match. Both turned out really and for those wondering how to do its very simple just clean your panels really good before paint and take your time painting the job turns out 100x better.

| After the paint dryes, how does it feel?
Is it still posible to scratch through it like spray paint?

| Its interior plastic paint so im hoping it will last a good while. I put a good three coats on them so its got a pretty good lining to protect it. If it lasts great... if not ill just go over them again. It was a cheap fix and yet doesnt look like much it does give it little extra something that the old panels didnt without the speakers. As you could see my original drivers side had a stain from when the hatch strut died and leaked on it.
Total cost was $45 for the panels and paint

if it's pretty durable and doesn't smell, scratch, run with water etc etc, i might give this a shot

| I just did my dash in black & posted pics in my thread in the appearance section. The absolute best stuff on the market is by a brand called SEM. MANY automotive restoration shops use it. |
