Default Has anyone painted their f-body Bermuda Blue??

This may sound funny or strange but..... I have been having these weird reoccurring dreams at night that I'm in my garage detrimming my car to do a color change on my it, and I was painting it GM's Bermuda Blue or as it's also called Rip Tide Blue, it's the blueish green that flip flops. The manufacture code is WA214M. So now these dreams have me curious, I would keep the silver Manta on the hood and the silver SS emblems like I have it now. Just curious if anyone has painted a F-Body this color if so some pics would be nice.

Thats the color of my truck, i love it. Most people thinks its a custom paint. I went to get either white or blue, saw it and was liek give me that one. Anyway, i think it would look awesome as long as it was done properly. I have already been told that a repaint of that color is hard because of the flip flop being correct as you look donw the vehicle. Anyway, go for it, great color.

Different idea, I've seen that on a truck around my neighborhood and love the color.

I would but I can't find any pics that do the color remotely any justice. Just keep and eye open for Escilades, Tahoe's, Yukon's and I think some of the Grand Prix's came in this color. I looks green but it flip flops to blue and kind of a purple color.

It looks like it's a dark green but, it's not that dark green (polo green, forrest green) that GM has put on their cars/trucks for years.

This is the best pic I could find.

that color is nice. i seen it on a yukon before and have never seen it on anything else. i have been wanting to maybe paint my trans am that color. never thought it was a stock gm color though. i say you do it. your car will be one of a kind.oh and one question, does that paint need multiple stages like candy or is the color just mixed like that or its a basic 2 stage paint job, paint and clear? thought i would ask since you paint for a living.

Sweet thanks 6SSpeed. How do you like it? More importantly what kind of comments do you get on it?

I think that it would look really good. Definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for colors to repaint a car though.

My mom has it on her Grand Prix.

It's not my car. He has a thread on it somewhere called "99 New Suit". I would have painted the hood to match but he really wanted the carbon fiber look.

He should leave the manta carbon fiber, and paint the rest. That would be sick.
