Default Satin Colored cars (not black)

I am looking into painting my car after we are finished with the build. I want to paint it a satin color, but not black. I tried searching for pics with no hits except black. The colors I have in mind are satin orange or satin viper steel gray. I like the idea of the vsg satin, but I'm not sure how it would look. satin orange looks sick, but I am not so much into the flashy colors. A buddy of mine has a satin trans am which looks very good but I want to do something different than his blue. What colors do you all think would look good satin?? This is his car:

Here is the satin orange i was talking about. I think it looks sick, but I am not so much into the bright colors. My friend who is into paint says that any pastel color will look very very good satin.

Yeah, i was thinking darker orange might look good too, almost like a SOM color. Light blue and dark green may look good too. Some shade of tan would probably look sick satin also

Here is a quick rendition of a dark(ish) metallic satin green. looks pretty good, not sure how it would look on a SS instead of a bird..

Here is my light blue rendition.

My body shop friend says the satin reds just look like faded reds, but other than him saying that I thought a deep red would look killer. I'll do one of those next....

Here is a dark red one. It was harder to change the color on this but i'm just doing really quick renditions.

Light blue looks pretty damn slick, maybe a slightly different shade than that one though.

in 2004 and /or 2005, Kawasaki had two satin colors that were both amazing. Candy plasma blue and titanium. Check them out. I am seriously considering painting my 69 Camaro the titanium color.
