painting the shock towers?

so the white T/A's have a white engine compartment... go figure, anyways after 10 years of niglect from the first and only other owner i want to clean things up, i plan on doing the wire mod, painting the valve covers during my cam install, painting the LS6 intake, and re wrap all the wires. however the white on the shock towers are looking brown at this point and i was wondering if i can spray paint them to keep cost down? if so any pics? help?

personally if you want my honest opinion i would drop the motor and shoot the entire engine bay. by doing that you will have an extremely nice finish on the whole engine bay and youalso get the chance to clear everything in there to prevent furthur discoloration. clear coat just makes everything look a hell of a lot better to.

well i was thinking about doing this when im doing my cam swap and taking everything off the shock tower as well as the front clip so i would paint a good amount of the engine bay... does anyone know of a spray can that is arctic white?

autozone,pep boys,kragen, walmart all sell duplicolor rattle cans in arctic white
