Default Chameleon paint from factory?????

Did GM release a greenish, purpleish, blueish changing chameleon paint job from the factory??? Remembered looking at one when I bought my SS and have never seen one on here or in person. Kind of wish I would have bought it

Did it look like this?

I never heard of it as a factory color, but it is pretty! I saved this pic like 5 years ago. I know nothing about this car.

in 98/99 Camaros had a crap load of odd colors, Mystic Teal was different but nothing like on Post 10. Ford had the ChromaLusion paint which is different but played out all the same.

Example

http://www.camaroz28.com/articles/99...rs/index.shtml

In 98 they had Bright Purple which them went to NBM...

I have the same paint as shown in SamhainZ28's picture on my 99 TA, they called it blue green chameleon for the pontiacs though even though it is the same paint code as the camaros for some reason. Its fairly rare from what I can tell, I have only seen 5 or 6 in person other than mine.

That's the color of mine. I love that color. Bright green one moment, deep blue the next. Really cool. Too bad the paint on mine is in fairly poor shape

There you go that's the color of the car that I saw. Man I just wanted to make sure it existed because I have never seen another one like it. Would have been badass to have owned it but it had tan cloth interior which I hate. Thanks

Well, mine needs more than just paint. Needs a front bumper cover (mine's cracked from the previous owner hitting a deer), needs some quarter panel work (hit-n-run last fall, plus some dings and a little surface rust), a mirror (that deer again), and a respray. Being a v6 I'm not sure if it is worth doing all that to it. I've lost so much in this thing already from stuff breaking I'm not sure when I should say enough is enough.

Don't buy an abused car.
