Update
got my driver side headlight finished and ready to seal the lens to it...

Still unsure which shroud I want to use...the polished metal I had on there first or the Heineken Keg can special....

I think it turned out pretty good.

Started work on the passenger side light, (covered in a bondo/resin coating sanding with 60 grit at the moment...

Are you making them in a way that you could possible use them as a mold & make some more?

its a possibility, but if you really want a sure fit its gonna be something you wanna tackle yourself, as I am sure some people will want something different, I know I am already wanting more detail in them, but using the vacuum method EVILZ06 has been posting up, the mold thing could be something I will try my hand at when I finish them.

Did you get your projectors from a Lexus/Toyota? Looks great so far. Also, are you thinking of putting HID's in the projectors?

I do like the non-pop up lights available now but they are more than $1,000.

the inner projectors are Infinity FX35(might be Nissan too?) the Low beams or outer projectors are BMW, the inners are going to be turn signals and the outer are HID

Where did you get the lense covers from? I wonder how it would look having them tinted as well.

you can make your own using your metal covers with cotton flannel wrapped around them and some sheets of either lexan or acrylic baked in the oven, just make sure you do some experimenting with the temps as different ovens heat differently...then you can cut them to size(how I did it)

I started doing HIDs to my 97 but in a popup form.
That was about 3 yrs ago and never did finish.
Ive collected about every kind of HID possible to experiment with.
Youve inspired me to work on my 02 and do it as well.

That vacuum forming acrylic is a cool setup. I could see that being very useful.

Ok got the lens sealed to the cover...I used silicone and clamps to make it hold till the silicone set and cured, I`m not sure of the durability of this yet, so its gonna need some testing, but I gotta finish the other side and then get her out for some daily driving. Anyway here are the pics with the lens sealed to it, you can see the silicone on some parts of it, also it looks a bit off with the line of the hood....I`m starting to think this is the first set of many that I will need to try and improve on......
