Default r34 skyline bayside blue 1995 trans am...was going to make some racing stripe but...

so my year long project is about ready for a fresh coat of paint. i am painting it the skyline r34 bayside blue. ive done the cut in on the jams already. i was thinking of putting some racing stripes on and thought that a dark gunmetal would be nice. i also am going to paint the rims to match. the ttop bar and the mirror also. now i am debating on the style of racing stripe and also thinking about painting the top of my spoiler to match the ttop bar and leaving the bottom blue and the racing stripes to run underneath. what are your opinions on this. pics would be nice. i would like to see some two tone too. thanks!!!

Theres another Trans Am (Lt1 style) that has that same paint scheme, but with a silver stripe separating the two paints, looks awesome. IMO i would not paint the rims to match the car, its just to much.

Just my opinion, but I think anything bigger or thicker than Blackbird stripes take away from the car.
I LOVE Blackbird stripes, but unfortunately mine bubbled...twice so I removed them.

I believe that painting the rims to match isnt really my thing but in this case if i used a dark gunmetal it wouldnt look cheesy. Now if i said that i was going to paint them blue please slap me lol. the spoiler idea is because i dont like the look of two stripes (one on top and one on the trunk). ```Anyone have any other stripes pics???``` thanks!

ahh you did what i was thinking about with the spoiler ~nice!~ if i had your hood i might do that design but i cant afford that hood. another thing i was thinking about was the ttop bar on the bottom where it meets the quarter panel seems like it would look good if it ran back a bit and connected the spoiler. bare with me on the photo lol. nice job though looks great!!

hah....yea I actually thought about that after it was to late...already painted....we have some thick black pin-stripe here at work and I thought about just using it to black out the part you're talking about...if it doesn't look good i'll just remove it.

Well ill be doning some body work and prepping this weekend... i think i am just going to run two stripes on the hood coming from the louvers and two under the spoiler. i might throw some black pin stripes down on were the paint will meet to break it up...maybe. definetly doing the top of the spoiler ,ttop bar and mirrors. still undecided on the color for the top and stripes...i was thinking gunmetal, dark gunmetal, black pearl....?? i just don't know if i want the black on the rims as well...decisions ...decisions
