-Paint the fuel door white and leave the screws aluminum.. the all aluminum finish clashes
-Get rid of the ground FX
-Get rid of that HUGE tach...
-Get clear corners..
Besides those, the car looks great, it is definitely set apart...

SO what magnet is saying is take off all the hard work you put into itand then it will look good. hahaha.
No.. not at all, I am talking about the Ground effects and front lip etc... not the Wide body parts...I like the wide body parts a lot. I don't mean to criticize or downplay what you have done, just giving my opinion..

No worries, I am still on the fence about the GFX myself, they are probably coming off atleast so I can see how it looks without. That nose 6le is working on is the other option that I am leaning twards. If I go with it all GFX will be removed. As far as the fuel door goes, I have a little more airbrush work to do on the side of the car and then I think it will flow a little better, plus it matches my interior theme... so we will see. I think clear corners only look good on cars that aren't black, white, or silver. Those three colors can pull it off with the amber color, but any other colors & I would agree.
looks great, i just dont like the ground fx. i think it would look awesome slammed, which would be alot easier to do without that lower bumper add on and side skirts.
Hey McNord, I'm glad I finally ran across your widebody thread. The car looks great.
On my 99 TA I plan to widen the doors and rear fenders at least 3"-4" per side.
I'm running the C6 5 spoke rims 19x10 and was planning to bolt on some 2"-3" adapters to push the rims out. Later on I can have the rims widened to 13" or so and fitted with 335 or 345 tires. Functionally it should be fine, but I have no idea if the rims are gonna look right or not. They might look funny.
So my question is, do you think the rear wheel on a widebody needs to have a lip on it to look "proper"?
One other thing, are you concerned at all about the amount of tire tread that will be showing when viewed from the front or rear? Do you know what I mean? Not the tread seen under the car, but the part under the fender "flare"

Yea I think it would be killer with a harrel type front bumper. I see what your saying with the fuel door matching the interior, but personally I think it sticks out when looking at the exterior... food for thought, should an interior theme be carried to the outside of the car if it clashes with the rest of the outside of the car? Up for debate
As far as clear corners, I think they look great on any color but SOM, hugger and red cars (with exceptions obviously) and think they look especially good on white as it keeps the orange from being an eye sore.. again just personal preference

^^I hate clear corners on ANY color and only like amber on a few... I think whistler style (don't know what else to call it, lens is clear BUT inside metal is mostly black) is what should have been factory (with matching whistler headlights of course)...

/\ /\ /\ they shouldve color matched them. black cars get black headlight housings and corner housings. SOM get SOM headlights and SOM corners, and NBM get NBM headlights and NBM corners and so on. i think that wouldve set every car off. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................w ell now that i think about it maybe just the corners would look good color matched but defintaely black headlight housings lol

O_O definitely not. That'd be Corvette C6 style, and I'm not a fan.

Love the fenders, I would also like to see the GFX front fins changed like in the earlier rendering and to see the white gas cap. Car looks great though.

Although I do like actual "Clear" corners, I was generalizing anything other than the ambers.. I think the actual shade depends on the theme of the car...

Awesome work!! I also think it would look much better without the gfx. I think with the DH bumper/black wheels with green accent the car would look incredible!! Either way very nice! Would love to see a picture with the new wheels!!!
