Default Opinion Change LS1 Edit to Hp Tuners

I've been running an LS1 Edit program from my tuner for years. Some of the other local guys have been getting their cars tuned with the Hp Tuners software from another tuner. These cars are producing some impressive times!!!

My question is, should I switch over to Hp Tuners and have this guy tune my car aslo? Is the LS1 Edit ancient software compared to the newer ones on the market?

I appreciate the advice. D

LS1 Edit is like DOS and HP and EFILive are like Windows 7.

I would switch if you can.

Do you think that there would be a performance gain from the switch? I can't believe how fast some of these cars are for what is done.

You can of course still tune with LS1 Edit (I used it for years) but HP and EFILive has more features and it is easier to get a great tune.

Good luck.
