finished cam swap today, need advice.

i have a 99ss camaro with ls1/4l60e. installed a 228/228 588 588 112lsa cam and valve springs. i started the car up after the install, started fine didn't leak, seemed to idle ok. as soon as i tried to put the car in gear it died. i still have the stock stall in there now but i have a 3400 im going to put in. is there anything i can do to make the car idle in gear until i get the converter in!? any advice is much appreciated thanks in advance.

GET IT TUNED!

gonna have to put it in neutral and keep givin it gas, or leave in gear and basically brake stall it at EVERY stop untill its tuned

so turning the idle up a bit won't help?

ya it does help but then you will run into other problems... The best bet is just bite the bullet and get it tuned
