Default Lids vs Volant intakes ??

Whats is better?? A SLP Lid or Volant intake. Thanks guys, John

Money wise the SLP lid, seriously there cant be but 2whp difference at most. Why pay an additional 179 bucks for it?

Well Volant Intake is made for Regualr T/A hood it don't seal on Ram air hood.
You have to modify the seal on top. So it can seal on Ram Air Hoods. Someone has link of new seal on it for ram air hood.

It's not hard to modify the Volant box to seal to a ram air hood. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot, look in the plumbing section for copper pipe foam insulation (it's tubular, about 6' in length, usually dark gray in color, and has a split down the entire length of the tube), cut the foam tube to length, fit over the existing rubber seal around the box and you're done. Putting Tire Shine on your tires is harder than that.
