I was thinking of getting one. Now i was thinking the actual "Bird". I know that there are a few different generations of the bird. Has anyone done this? any pics? Almost thinking on doing the last of the breed badge, but i would look like a real ass if the ever came back with the Firebird name LOL! Thanks guys for any input

I got one about 5 years ago. its on my right forearm. It was drawn by the tattoo artist. Its basically a 70s style bird with a pontiac logo going through it. the bird is black and the wings start off orange and fade to yellow. I dont have any pictures of it right now, but i will try to get one up tomorrow. A lot of people dont understand why i got it, but i love it and dont regret it at all.

Well before it I think looked alot better when it was just an outline of the pheonix but as you can see i got bored and decided to get it filled in and figured why not add the fire in behind it. I dont have a newer pic but ive also done more car themed checkered flags in behind the flame and bird to give it depth and look alot better. With just the bird and flames i thought it looked out of place since i added to it i think its looks really good.

Haha thats funny that you posted this. I just got one on sunday. I went with the 98-02 style bird on my right bicep with tribal going from each side around my arm. First tattoo for me and it looks badass I think
