Those are the Breathless Performance lights, from what i have read on here they are sh*t for what you pay. Even then $1,000 for some headlights is a waste of money, at one time i did want them. I just went ahead and used the money on some mods that actually make a difference (cam). Either way your car, and your money spend it how you want.

$1000 for headlights. Fail train. You might aswell take $1000 and throw it in the garbage. Let's say you bought them and 2 months from now you need some extra cash. So you think man ill just sell my 1000$ headlights... GL with that.

Don't like them. Makes it look like a camaro. I personally would never do that to my bird.

i think it would look cool on a black car if you black-out the lense a bit. but until they slash price by at least 75%, then i might be interested.

Flip-up light cars are so sweet. I don't know why you'd want to convert them.

Looks pretty awful in my opinion.

Amen! Never heard of a Firebird owner that didn't notice the flip-up headlights before buying their car.

Wow are you new? i was expecting this to be a 5 year+ thread back from the dead. Try a search. LOL. These are CRAP. For $1,000 you don't even get HID. Lame.

Hey buddy ask away. That's what these forums are for. I bought my first trans am back in 1981 and I ask questions here all the time. Don't be afraid to ask opinions either, though you won't always like the responses. Just an FYI, Ive gotten alot of stuff from the WS6store and they're great. Fast shipping and lots of cool stuff to get your bird. Have fun with her.

Hi and welcome to the best forum for body’s!
Don’t stop to ask Q that’s why we have this forum for.
I love those headlights, I’m actually thinking of buying me a set just to get another look on my car. IMO car get a more modern look with the Lemans style headlights

Welcome! And congrats on your purchase, you will love the car! As far as lighting goes, as of now, you really only have one option to upgrade. RETROFIT. Or in other words, using your stock housings, adapt them to hold projector lights and and HID kit. The projector lenses are usually OEM from another car manufacturer such as BMW(e46 headlights usually) Or Infinity FX. Look up a member called VIP1. Or ill give you a link actually. In his lighting FAQ he provides links and details to most headlight options we have. As far as housings right now, there's nothing. These are the only Non pop up lights and are crap.
Lighting FAQ

Now there ARE a few members on here, like me, who are making our own non pop up headlights. Using a lot of the info in the FAQ, along with building our own housings out of fiberglass and lexan, or whatever materials we've chosen. Some of them may or may not become available, just watch for threads in the future. Until then what i would recommend is a retro fit using fx35 or fx45 headlights. Follow one of the builds in the FAQ.
