my dream car is an ls1 ta but i love my formula and ima keep it for a long time. Its a 97 formula with no options so its nice and light and lt1 formulas are rare around here.

99 Formula here and I'm the only one I have seen around here other then on a dealership lot. I like being kind of rare but I do kind of hate not having the cooler looking spoiler.

I have a formula. 97 model and it's a vert so pretty rare. When I first got it I considered the Trans Am conversion but since then I have come to prefer the cleanliness of the formula body.

Then again, it is LS1Tech.com not LT1Tech.com, isn't it?

Have a great day!

I love the Formula's looks. I used to prefer T/A's, but the simplicity of the Formula really grew on me.

Don't have one but almost bought an '00, 6 speed, hardtop, black/black formula, but it was wayyy overpriced at the time (like 4k over blue book). Would have probably turned it into a sleeper/ram air clone or both. I love my ws6 TA, but if i had ever found a ws6 formula, I woulda snatched it up in a heartbeat.

i've just purchased a 1995 formula. its black. its needs a little work, but its mostly appearance. i'm currently looking for wheels & tires (chromed). i have 3 guys giving me pics so i can decide. they are all running between $300-450 shipped (depends if they have tires with or not). i'm going to put a big blocker hood on it too in a month or so. does anyone know of a good price on front seat covers that are leather like? i'm a tight ass so i'm always looking for deals. also looking for t-tops b/c the driver side doesn't have a lock at all. one more thing, does anyone know if i can change out the t shaped shifter with something else? mine is automatic. if i can where is a good place to look at them & buy? i'm sure i'll be asking for my advice & anybody that knows any good deals soon.

Leather seat covers: I got mine at www.leatherseats.com . They are kind of pricey but a good company to deal with and good quality. There is also www.auto-interior.com (I think that's it). They are a little cheaper but are limited in their colors. I know RKsport sells them for camaros, not sure about birds. F-body motorsports also sells leather like seat covers.
You can change out the shifter. It will interchange with the ball shaped one on camaros if you want that but if you are going for aftermarket there is MBA or whatever they are called.

I don't see why not. Just make sure it will actually fit on the little shifter rod.

2000 WS6 Formula...1 of 233 WS6 Formula's I read somewhere. I like its front end better than the T/A's and prefer the more functional rear wing than the more gaudy one
Anyone know the reason WS6 Formula's were discontinues after 2000? I heard it was from whiny T/A owners complaining their 3-5k more expensive cars were going down to cheaper(lighter) Formulas?
