Default G8 Bug?

On a car we test drove it seemed that if you lowered the driver's side window it canceled the cruise control out on us.

I was out test driving a G8 GT with a friend, and we're cruising down the highway, cruise control on and we lowered the driver's side window. As the window went down the cruise control cut out. The driver figured he bumped the cruise control by accident so we put the cruise back on and put the window up, then put the window down again. As we put the window down the cruise canceled.

Very strange, we did a half dozen times or so just to test, and it happened every time. The salesman claimed he'd never heard of this happening before. Has anyone else come across this bug or did we just test drive a factory fuckup?

I'm wondering if this is a wiring issue, or the draw on the window (which with the alternator spinning that fast should negate that) somehow trips the cruise :\

I'd definitely contact GM about it though, or check google for service bulletins in case it's already been addressed.

gota be a short somewhere, theres no way that actuating the window should draw enough current to kill the cruise control. Sounds like a short is actuating the cruise control relay somehow.
