Default What makes the L76 only 360HP

is there a reason why the L76 is only 360 compared to the LS2 is 400?
its got better heads, is the intake or cam? because its DOD?

I would say it has the quietest exhaust I have ever heard on a V8. I bet the G8 GT feels like it has cold, the engine barely speaking, I can't breathe! I think that's where a lot of the power is being robbed.

full cat back really wakes the G8 up. More so than an fbody.

If you consider 10 -15 rwhp "really waking it up". Long tube headers and x-pipe even with stock mufflers will gain you 35-40 rwhp before a tune. Thats a little more of a wake up. The low lift cam for the AFM and tune for 87 octane are the main difference though.

Yeah, I don't think the stock cat-back is as restrictive as some people think. I agree that the cam and tune are the biggest causes.
