|  2009 G8 Purchase
I am thinking of buying a new G8 and was hoping for some input from G8 owners?
After 2 days of accumulating 230 miles the G8 seems to be a great buy. I need something sporty with 4 doors and it fits the bill. After my searching dollar for dollar I think this car is the best buy for the money.
I feel I am getting a good deal since the car stickers at 34,110 & with a $1500 rebate and $1000 GM credit that I can use from my credit card plus with some negotiating I have it down to $29780 plus Tax. It has the premium package, sport package, sun roof etc. Now I just need to sleep on it and get some opinions.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Mine just turned 1000 miles yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it! Can't go wrong in my opinion if you want a 4 door with room.

I luv my G8 it has a classy look and get good MPG's for a V8 i have the same package you looked, less the sunroof. Sticker was 31k. Back seat is very roomy, I have one of the bigger forward facing car seats in there for my son.

I just called the dealer and told him to gas it up. Thanks everyone it looks like a great car. It is replacing my 06 GS430. The Lexus is twice the price but not twice the car. The G8 feels connected to the road and you have a lot of driver input where in my last 4 door you receive little. Once I hit 60,000 miles I always buy another car. After thinking hard on this I will have the G8 and some change left over to buy something else I probably don't need.
I would love to see some pics of everyones G8's.

I love the new G8s. For some reason a fast sedan attracts me.

I just went for a long interstate ride and the G8 is a great car. Best bang for the dollar in high performance sedans in my opinion. Does not pull strong once it hits triple digits but I am spoiled. A few evenings in the garage and we can change that.
