| There are tons of mods out there for them. Anything from basic bolt-ons to full blown engine builds (it's LSX based) with power adders.
You have one of the more moddified FWD V8 Impala SS's that I've seen (not sure why you'd spend that much money on a lease car, but to each his own). Do you have any dyno or track numbers for it?

| Its a great DD. Handles wonderfully compared to FWD (I had a 300whp GTP). Comfortable seats.
Lots mods from Intakes, Headers, cams, exhaust and Superchargers.....

| I drove an 09 today as my DD lease is up end of Jan. 09. I have a G35 sedan w/a Journey Pkg. The G35 is much nicer inside than the G8. I was pushing on the dash and touching :stuff" like the glove box, doors and several of there things just feel very Saturn/Chevy Lumina-ish. It rides great, goes quick and has nice seats and room in front and back, much bigger (read wider) than the G35 inside.
Being built in Australia you'd "think" the fit and finish would be better. I may get one cause I don't like driving rice shit. I gonna need some convincing though. G37 comes out this month with a 328hp V-6 and a 7 spd tranny. My current 5spd tranny is no better mpg than my Vette. This car is VERY close to the ultimate American sedan.
1. Where's the HomeLink? (i mean 09..WTF??)
2. Better exhaust note.
3. Rear view mirror is right out of 1992 cars.

| Jimmyz, I agree that the glovebox door is decidedly cheap feeling. Other than that I don't have any complaints. It might not be quite as "nice" as a G37, but it's not a bitch car like a G37 either

| You think the G37 Sedan is a "bitch car"? I'm guessing here, but I'll bet the new G37 will give the G8 GT all it wants in a race. In my G35 sedan, I've walked 2 Mustang GT's and the little SC'ed Mercedes too. These things are really fast for what they are.

I love mine, even the interior which is very nice and not overwrought with gizmos. It also has better leather (real leather actually) than everything GM makes here (shiny, creasing, banana-peel seats). |

| ^^^ Thanks man. I'll probably get one but just need some more selling to convince myself. Do the 09's have hands free Bluetooth?

| I know of a nice shop in Kansas City and that makes a Twin turbo kit that bolts in place of the cats and requires no cutting, oil lines, etc. |

| can't complain about anything except that fuckin glove box door...i just keep it locked and it stays in place better...big center console for storing stuff anyways...cant complain that the exhaust is quiet...that's what they tried to do from the factory...make a sleeper v8...it adds to the excitement when you get LT's and an x-pipe and the g8's bark finally matches its bite..

| What does everyone thing prices will do if GM ends up going under? You think they will skyrocket since thier won't be anymore or you think GM will pressure the dealerships to get them off thier lot to try and recoup some money for a restart? |
