I still cant believe people are complaining about price. Its just retarded. Find another car that is in the same league as this one and they are all the SAME! Literally.
Anyways,
Looks damn good in black. Loving the wheels with the car as it just sets its off beautifully. The interior is a great color that goes with the black. Just an all around beautiful car.

The price differential between the GXP and GT will be an ongoing debate. Ultimately, the price difference somewhat involves the luxuiry of having nicer brakes, improved suspension, LS3 engine, etc from the factory. I bought it because I find value in the aforementioned

I agree completely. The value of the car is pretty damn good and the price point is right up there with the competition.
How wide are the rear tires? They dont look that big in the pics to me.

Not wide at all. 245/40/19 tires. The car's overall stance would likely be improved with wider rear tires, but it seems tucking in wider tires on these cars is somewhat challenging.

Finally, people that "get it"! I feel the same way and I am getting a GXP the minute my dealer calls me.

SRT8s, and yes you can't get a manual in them but you can get them with pretty much every other feature the GXP lacks like HIDs and nav.

SRT8's are slower, do not handle near as well as a G8 and cant break as good either. You can add HID's into the projector headlights the G8 has and I rather have a removable NAV like a Nuvi then a $2k in-car GPS. There is also a work around where you can put video (any) on the screen, and you could put a nav system on it to show up on the screen.
Maybe Im a bit biased but the G8's chassis feels to be put together a bit better than the SRT8's. No empirical data... just my thoughts given that I have driven both vehicles.
