Default DBA Rotor Install Pics

Required Items
Jack (DUH!), Rags, Brake Cleaner, penetrating spray, 12mm and 18mm wrenches,22mm impact gun(or tire iron) 24oz rubber mallet,80 grit sand paper(if you are reusing existing pads),C-Clamp (or piston compression tool) gloves, something to sit on, about 2hrs of your time.Little helpers to ask many questions lol like 'What are you doing?" "Why?" "But Why?"

1- jack up car and remove tire.
2- remove brake assembly and compress pistons (caliper first 12mm and 18mm)
3- pad carrier (18mm and mallet the bolts are tight )
4- remove rotors ( I sprayed a little penetrating spray around the center hub and lugs. My front drive side was real tight and took the longest. The others just a little spray and a couple whacks from the mallet)
5- Use break Cleaner to clean up penetrating spray and wipe down excess
6- Clean rotor surface (not painted areas) with some BC on a rag. Don't forget to do the parking brake on the rear rotors.
7- Reassemble (if you're reusing pads knock the glazing off of them with the 80 grit.)

I had a pulse(that I could feel in the steering wheel) with the stockers under hard braking and I can honestly say it is completely gone. Deff noticed a difference at the track and if I push it hard on the back roads.

Cool they do dress up the car more as well so that is a plus; performance and looks.

Ive only done one panic stop in my GXP so far and I swore up and down I had bit the bullet on that until reality hit me after about 30 seconds.
Especially considering the weight.
