09 G8 6M with ls3 out for sale?

I was talking to a friend of mine out of Houston TX about the new 09 G8 GT auto that I was thinking of getting for my wife tomorrow. To make a long story short he told me that one of the guys he know has a yellow 09 G8 with a LS3 and a manual six speed. I was surprised because I thought this car wasn't coming out until Christmas from what I have been reading hear. The dealer ship that is selling them is Landmark Chevrolet. I don't know this to be true but I am going to give the dealer ship a call tomorrow. If so I am going to make a tripe to Houston.

That's strange. I was riding by my GMC/Pontaic/Buick dealership and from the road I saw a bright yellow sedan sitting on their showroom floor. Now, I'm curious, I think I'm gonna' have to go and see also. Like what you said, I read, also, that it was supposed to come out in late 08', but you could say this is early/late 08'. Now I know I'm not gonna' be able to sleep.

a dealer told me GXPs wont arrive until jan. and id get a call as soon as one came in.

GXPs arent out yet, maybe Landmark did it aftermarket, but that would probably be more expensive than the factory GXP coming out. We are on a list as well and checked back with the dealer a few weeks ago and said that they still can't tag them yet.

Yeah, wierd. Why would a Chevrolet dealer be selling a Pontiac? Used I could see, but not new.
