what gains have you seen on a G8?

Depends on the rest of the combination, ported heads alone should see 40-50 HP improvement, but you would want to do an intake, possibly exhaust, and a cam at the same time to take full advantage.

40-50hp?? on L92's? I know a ported LS1/2/6 upgrade can do that, but have never heard of it on Gen IV stuff. if so, you'll sell a ton of them. I was thinking it was more like 20hp on these, but have not seen anyone put them on a G8 yet.

So what u are saying is i could just put these heads on the car and back it with exhaust, and stock headers and i would gain 40rwhp or flywheelhp. Then i might just put one of those new yanks in the tranny and have it tune.

Should be a fun 4door to drive.
