| Anyone still paying over sticker for a G8? Just happened to drop by the dealer today and saw two 2009 G8s, one black and the other blue, the blue looked damn sharp btw! I can't remember exactly what the "market adjustment" bs was for them but the sticker ended up being a little over 38k for them both. Has anyone else seen these cars for over stick? I could maybe see this happen when they were first released but these have been out for a while now, anyone else run into this?

| the dealer i test drove one at where i bought my GTO took 1k off without me trying that hard and were willing to take more off. theres no reason to pay markup on these cars.

| i see plenty of them sitting on lots. v6 models and gt's. Kinda of reminds me of the GTO's rusting away on the lots.

| In today's market, any dealer that thinks he's going to get a mark-up is idiotic.

| went to a dealer yesterday in wichita and they had nine 2009 G8 GT's on the lot. the guy was practically begging me to test drive one. said I could 'take it to dinner' and feel it out.
they are also offering Employee pricing, which was about $2500 off sticker not bad for no negotiation.

| I would love to go test drive one, but i would hate to tease myself since i don't have the cash. I noticed a local dealer still has a brand new '08 GT in ignition orange i believe on ebay for $32K but it now. I wish i had some money to go in there and try to steal it for below 30K out the door.

| One of the places here had several the other day when my wife and I dropped in for a test drive. We could have had any of them for below $30k. Very nice ride and I think my wife is going to get one as her next ride. |

| You can buy them at employee pricing now. Too many are sitting around on lots, just like all cars.

| called a few dealers yesterday and they said even if you have a credit over 725 the best interest rate would be 6.9%, told them to keep it.
hell my last two vehicles were 0%, but opted for the 1.9% and rebates.
if anyone in houston knows a better place then baytown and alvin with better interest rates, post up. |
